Farming Crash Fish?
Has anyone come up with a good way to farm Crash Fish? I don't seem to be able to pick up the Crash Nest, as in put it in my inventory. Searching for Crash Eggs by setting off all of the Crash Fish is kind of sketchy and unreliable, especially with the new way that Crash Fish launch out of their nest in a wild and random fashion. I wish we could pick up Crash Fish that we grabbed with the Propulsion Cannon.

If you're curious why I want to do this, I've found Crash Fish to be the most awesome torpedoes in the game with the PRAWN Propulsion Cannon.

Hatching eggs is really the only way to do this, however if you get 2 of them they should breed if left in the alien containment long enough. At least they're supposed to.

I've only had non-egg fauna breed in the alien containment. Then again, I rarely have 2 egg fauna in the container and use them mostly as decoration. I might give this a shot.

Nice! I will have to make myself a crashfish farm then. Now I just need to bring the PRAWN propulsion cannon bug that I found to the dev's attention. Sadly my Propulsion Cannon Arm/ Crashfish torpedo idea failed because after I loaded one Crashfish, it wouldn't let me load another. So I was unable to conduct my experiment to see how many crashfish are required to kill a Leviathan. =/

As a tip, after you get a few Crash in the tank, you'll notice the eggs start to pile up in the bottom (especially if you used a double-decker or higher tank with lots of room). You can collect these and stick them in lockers to help speed up repopulation if you plan on, say, filling your PRAWN inventory with them as ammo.

As for firing them with the exosuit, I'm pretty sure that should just work. If it's bugged, that's one of the most disappointing bugs ever, because they seem to one-hit kill everything I've tested them on with the hand-held one.
