Jesus... I just talk to you, that's all. I don't try to convince anyone with anything. Play what you want dude!
The PRAWN suit seems to kill anything smaller than a leviathan, with just 2-3 hits of the claw arms.
All is said is this quote.
That doesn't mean you can't kill anything though. You have to be more imaginative if you want to get rid of something in Subnautica. For example, with the propulsion cannon, you can displace and drop a rock on a predator, or just stack up acid mushrooms with you and use them as ammo. And you can believe me, when exploding, they sure are deadly.
Last but not least : This pinned topic (that you should have read first but whatever) has the answer to your question.
adding lethal weapon would destroy their danger again it would be stupid idiotic dumb moronic
and as said many times already...you can already kill creatures in many way in this game if you use your brain if you don't have a brain try call of duty it's really good game
use the grappling hook to grab any creature and drill the murder smirk off of its face
Otherwise for basic defence while not inside a Seamoth/PRAWN/Cyclops. Use Stasis Rifle/Propulsion/Repulsion Gun to keep nasty ♥♥♥♥ away.
But i guess it's too hard for developers in this day and age, to require it's players to actually use their brain in trying to figure out how to stay alive.
You need ways to defend yourself. Not to kill. And this game has plenty of ways to defend yourself.
Some of the best horror/tension you can get is generally in games where you can defend yourself, but can't kill your pursuer. Usually it's used in games like Amnesia. This games company decided to use it in a sandbox game instead. And it definitely does give a sense of tension whenever a dangerous creature is nearby.
If you like shooting things in your survival game, this game isn't for you indeed.
