Any Multiplayer?

I could not find a suggestions subforum so here I am.

I am watching Jacksepticeye play this, and it looks neat enough, though I hear it's a bit sparse on content at the moment. That's cool, so long as more is coming down the pipe.

What would really tip it from 'maybe buy, someday' to 'Must have!' would be if multiplayer were a thing, so my friends and I can explore and build a big base and such.
I don't do many solo player games anymore, but that's just me.

Thats cute, my 5yrs old does the same when I say no for ice cream, all sad locked in his room.

MP will probably only be made once the game is out of early access. In all fairness the game is completely rich with content and considering you haven't played it you don't know what multiplayer will even be like, the whole point of this game is to make you feel alone, it is much more than just a building and exploring game.

Just because a LifePod was designed to hold 2 people, it doesn;t mean it has to hold 2 people. Epecially if you are one of the last off the crashing ship, and hit launch before anyone else could jump in. If there was anyone else left onboard to jump in. It would just be plain silly to make LP's that only hold 1 person.

cause the pod was maeabt for more then one person but you jumped in it and ejected from the mothershiop, your fault

Did I say people were stupid for buying it? No.

I just said I'd pass if it lacks co-op because I am a big co-op player and single-player games get stale for me.

The game is beautiful, admittedly, but if I build some huge underwater city, I want my friends to be able to log in and see it and be amazed. And to contribute.

If your head is out of your (This word has been censcored so it is viewable by children), why would you not of realized the pinned multiplayer thread or the search bar which would lead you to the many, many, many multiplayer threads in which your "I NEED CO-OP PLZ" friends are.

If you want co-op, go to a game where co-op wouldnt ruin the feel the game is supposed to give.

Steam should start ban users, if not used the search function, before starting a new thread. So i think, half of all posters would get banned :)

The devs have said they are focusing on the story not mutiplayer. Possibly in the future they will add it but theres a low change of them doing it. Subnautica was originally going to be mutiplayer but the devs scrapped it. So hopefully they will add it in the future.

I heard that multiplayer might be added as DLC, as with how the game is coded, multiplayer simply will not work.
