@OP, The side entrance was sealed after the latest update. The way into the Aurora is found at the front via two doors. Remember to bring a propulsion cannon as the entrances are sealed off. Also bring a welder and a laser cutter as areas are sealed off without them once you get inside.
It is new to me I just started the game, not being jerk here, first thing to do tonight try to get inside the Aurora
No problem sexy
You still have 2 entrances, just the 'side' entrance is no longer there.
while you are here just want to say love the game, its awesome!

Could not get far into the ship yet, as i do not yet have the propulsion or lazor cudder.
Also only had a knife, and those pesky small things caused me grief the first few minutes, until i found a pattern to them. Now they are just annoying to get rid of.
My only complain i got with this game is the FEEL of how little there is of any resource.
Still trying to get some silver ore... ugh...
Made a very simple little "base" thing at the seabed under the lifepod 5 with the storage lockers.
At this point in my game, they are a god send.
Only need to find some way to sort them.
And since i can't deconstruct those pesky floating 4x4 lockers, i just now have some far off, empty. They are annoying to get into, and thus i find them highly inconvinient.
But that is mostly just nitpicking at this point.
I remember when the game hit the Steam store and i got it no later then 4 days after. (-ish.)
And with the optimisations done, i can honestly say.
Of all games i have played since the commador 64/amiga; This is the most stunning looking game of all time!
The only thing i would actually love to see in this game is islands with minor vegitation, like palm like trees.
Why you might ask?
Well, so i can build a lovely chair, a few other decorative objects.
And kick back and watch the stunning sunset and the fastest planet/moon rotating around my own planet.
And who knows.
Maybe when i get rescued, it might be when i'm hard asleep on the little island.
Now tat would be some fun story to tell hehehe...
But eh, just some wild fun idea.
I doubt it will be made, but one can dream. And i certainly will dream.
Maybe later, mods will be the way to go? *shrugs*

Keep exploring and Scanning.

But also at the fact that what i wanted was already there, for me to enjoy!
This game gets a 10/10 now...
or if decimals has to be used a 9.9/10 (as it's still in development)
for resources I find that it doesnt seem to respawn which seem to be what the game wants to do. I did find lots of silver in difrferent places as you discover further, thats what I like about the game though it pushes you to move on so I have different little bases now.
Example quartz I have to go further to find it and now it seem ill have to go deeper....wish i could fing the pressure compensator soon :(
Also just started the scaner room its helpful with the HUD upgrade
Now I'm gonna have to go find some deep shrooms and the Moonpool fragment, get my PDS for the Seamoth. Those Reapers *terrify* me. ;v;
You mean like this?
