How do I get the coffee machine?

Okay, collecting salt and bladderfish is too time consuming and hard to do. I've farmed bladderfish to the point they're practically extinct, and salt is the rarest resource in the game. The only thing to turn to is coffee.... caffeine... ok where do I find it?

theres a PDA on the Floater island near the central base area that will give the cords to the Jellyshroom base, which will give you the cords to the Grand Reef base once another PDA has been found.

one of the Coffee machines is located near a small debris pile located not far from a small wreck about 50-70 metres from the Aurora, theres 2 crashfish pods in that area so watch out for them.

Salt is plentiful on red grass areas near start area. Probably west of your lifepod.

I also have viewers who play through a section then watch my vid afterward just to make sure they didn't miss anything important or interesting - that way you get to experience the stuff in a new area for yourself without spoilers but can also immediately return to that area if you missed anything.

They should all come from PDAs found in abandoned bases or on the Floating Island. The beacon for the 3rd base (at 500m in the Deep Grand Reef) is easy to miss tho, you have to find the right PDA on the Floating Island and they're scattered all over the place. I know where to look and sometimes miss one anyway. On my latest playthrough I never got the beacon for the 500m base (but it didn't matter for me because I already knew how to find it).

Same for me, i already know where is it but i had not found the PDA, thank now i have all the story of the Degasi ^^

ugh... salt is everywhere, it's in every single shallows area and most other biomes with the exception of the lava zone.

It's in the sandy areas, it's in the red grass, it's in the brown grass, it's in the creepvine areas... It's a small white blocky looking patch.


Coffee only gives you +5 water, any of the island plants give you more. It's totally safe to swim on the surface of the water until you get to the islands (go to the one to the aft(behind) the aurora's engines) and you'll find all you need, then find the hole in the island and go straight down 500m and you'll find the degasi base everyone's talking about, it has the water filtration device - there's also a filtration device in one of the wrecks that's totally not in a safe location over near the reaper in front of the aurora.

Well, a month later, I have 2 lockers filled with salt and large filtered water. I don't need salt at this point lol

And I have a marblemelon source. I'm not really scared of predators other than ♥♥♥♥ WARPERS. But anyway, things are much better. I'm finding salt and progressively getting better everyday.
