Reefback leviathan stuck at my base; will repulsion cannon work?
Hi all, I just ran into an interesting situation. I built my main base this time at the edge of the kelp/grassy plateau. When I first built it, there was a reefback that would swim directly under the base as it did its normal circles in the water. Now, however, it's stuck on the cliff directly beneath my moonpool, which is inconvenient to say the least. I don't have the repulsion cannon modification yet, but even when I get it, do you think it will it be strong enough to push a reefback?

Edit: i can always move my moonpool, but that's a pain in the butt. I took a couple of cool screenshots but don't know how to share them here.

Not the first time I've seen this sort of thing, back in the EA days it was ridiculously common.

Normal best way to solve it I found was to build into them. Once the base piece you are trying to build in the same area their in finishes one of three things normally happens.
1. They get shoved to the side and out of the way.
2. They get shoved so hard it yeets them off in a direction (if that direction is up, then they will reach orbit before you do).
3. They get yeeted out of existence itself.

Either way, problem solved. Sort of.

It's been a long time since I was in the game or encounter this issue, but I do believe the repulsion cannon will push it with enough hits.

That Reefback loves you, followed you home, and your first thought is the repulsor cannon. 😢

I used the repulsion cannon. It took a lot of hits, but I eventually unstuck him.

I've run into this problem 2 times. The first time I relocated the base.

The 2nd time I slashed the reefback until it died and it disappeared. It took a long time.

Amanoob 105's solution of building a base piece to blast them away was not an option back then.

I love all the replies I've gotten so far! I especially love Amanoob's screenshot of building onto its back. Great community here, thanks for all the input! :)

I didn't build anything on it, that's the trick of the shot. Like you it was just stuck trying to swim though and got stuck on a solid bit :steamhappy:.
