Subnautica
Feel like I'm playing Subnautica "wrong"
I'm 40~ hours into the game, feels like I've obtained pretty much every upgrade I can without going really deep (1k deep)

I've been to the Lost River and whatnot

I think I have unlocked every upgrade for the Seamoth, Cyclops and Prawn
I have built the Seamoth and Cyclops

I'm not even halfway on knowing how to build the Prawn

Any tips to point me in the right direction? I've only found Prawn suits to scan a few times and I barely got any progress while doing it

There are a couple entrances, but the only one I've found was at the front of the ship. Part of the wreckage dips down into the water, and you can just walk up and into the ship. You'll know you're in the right place if a couple of crab-like creatures try to eat your face.

Bring a repair tool, laser cutter, and maybe a spare fire extinguisher.

Hmm. Have you explored the Aurora yet? It sounds like you have not fixed the radiation problem yet.
There's 4 large chunks of prawn suits in the Aurora. Scan those to unlock the suit.
I tried finding an entrance, but I didn't see any. So I assumed it was just a big block of a burning wreckage.

Tried looking on the side that is facing towards the life-pod and on the torn-up part where you can drive inside it, but couldn't see anything indication an actual entrance. Think I've looked around most of the sides

Thanks, gonna get to it next time I play!
the game prompts you to go to the aurora to fix the radiation leakage
but honestly its really easy to forget it
especially with those pants wetting reapers
The only prompt I remember was being told that the radiation from Aurora would cause unprecedented change to the nearby fauna, to which I just thought "welp, too bad I can't do anything about that"
My first play I totally blew off fixing the leak. I only figured out that it was a thing after I finished the game and had an achievement left to do.

Also a propulsion cannon unless you are really good at parkour.
Go in with a near empty inventory.
There are posters to collect; to decorate your base.
Also batteries, nutrient bars, water, and a model starship to find.
There's also an upgrade for the cyclops.

You don't need to be really good. I could do it half-asleep.

And Seamoth.

There are two entrances, one low that is blocked with boxes and a higher one that is open at first. You will need the propulsion gun to clear debris sooner or later.

You will eventually be making at least three trips in there.

Same here. It said drive core degrading in like 2-hours. I tried to go there, but radiation was killing me and had to turn around. Then it exploded when I went back to base to recuperate.

Then it said I need to fix the radiation fallout in 2 hours, and I was far away and not able to reach it in time. I made the life suit and went anyway and seen nothing to fix or repair and no doors to cut open and enter. I circled the Aurora 3 different times.

I did get a prompt to go to the captain's quarters and finally found the prawn suit. I never did repair the drive cores as I just went in to the captain's quarters and left, and got the prawn suit as it was on the way.

But it was unclear about repairing any drive cores. Especially when it said they blew up.
While that is a good location, you can also get parts in the dunes, grand reef, sea treader area and the purple orb and electric eel zones. You can choose if you want to get the 25% scans in the aurora or the 5%. You get to choose how hard you want to work for it.
