Crabsquid pet
Raised a crabsquid in the habitat (aquarium? idk) and the way it looks at me makes me uncomfortable, should i take him and free him out in the wild?

I have an aquarium full of aggressive and friendly fish, he wont harm you in containment. If you don't want him in there just grab him and put him in a storage container. If you want to release him, make sure its far from your base, and be ready to run away.

All else fails you could always shove him in the bioreactor.

No that's actually what I do with them. I just keep em for looks, any extras go in the burner...

remember when building the containment they warned you about what you hatch and the fact they may be studying you. LOL

bioreactor is the way to go. Or throw into rubbish bin work too.

the crabsquid i think has the same logic as the crabsnake, they want to be in their dark home biome. unless u console spawn them. they dont really seem to hang out in the area. they usually bolt.

They chase off with a thermoblade very easily. Hit it a couple of times and it speeds off.

Release it near a Reaper, report back on which one wins.

> Be me, work for Alterra, crash land on a water planet
> Build a base and equipment to help me survive this crap hole
> Get lonely and build an Alien Habitat, might find friendly creature to keep my company
> Find some eggs and throw them in and wait and see what happens
> Eggs hatch into Braincrab and exploding fish
> Fugly.jpg
> Throw them into the Bioreactor and watch them slowly dissolve as I play sweet vidya games from this dead dudes PDA, powered by the reactor.
