Can i tame the organisms?

Gotten tired of getting attacked all the time in the reef around where i live, was hoping i could just tame the creatures so im not attacked every 5 seconds.

What creature is specifically attacking you. If you’ve set up a base in an area that’s predator heavy that’s your own fault.

Certain ones will be tolerant of you after release from your alien containment. Stalkkers will be quite docile, espically if you feed them a fish and lay a scrap metal peice or two at their fins. Various wildlife will interact in various ways. Things I have found so far, listed as prey - predator: Biters - sand sharks, sandsharks and stalkers - Reapers, Bonesharks - Amp Eels, Reapers - Amp Eels. Warper - Ghost Levaiathan. If you find out what a mesmer is prey/pred to I would be interested in knowing.

I wouldn't say TAME, get them to leave you alone, for a bit, yes. A Reaper ate a sand shark that had me dead to rights so if they stop being good sandys and clearing out biters for me, they get dumped in reaper land. A released boneshark atye my fish and attacked me right away so he got crashfished and now they get released in reaper land or their eggs are biofuel.

Sand Sharks are what im having issue with i set my base in the red grass plains with the giant rays swimming above, ive been feeding this one sand shark like 6 fish, and it keeps coming back for more.

Try swiming through biter swarms with a sandy chasing you, unless the Devs changed it, they would eat the biters for me. When you ssee your first Amp Eel send a bone shark running you'll be like me and hoard and hatch every egg of those you can find. You just gave me a thought, if Preds won't eat the prey fish, perhaps drop a grav trap and maybe "convince" the sandy Subnautica-Dude=good biters=bad, will report back with results.

I’ve never really messed with biters to find out. They give me the weebie jeebies. I don’t tend to mess with sandsharks either as they are a bit quick to aggro.

Sandsharks and Stalkers have an antagonistic interrelation with each other. So do Bonesharks and AmpEels. They don't try to eat each other but they get into fights along biome peripheries after running into each other. And most likely AmpEels are only trying to defend themselves if they go after a Reaper.

I have seen a Spine Eel eat a Mesmer, though.

Another thought fo you and the OP, I do keep 2 - 3 useless fish I mean garryfish on hand to feed sandy's and stalker, they eat these. Friggin useless things..

Erm...at first glance i read that wrong.

Just feed them fish from your hand - any will work.. Biters eat them, Leviathans eat them, Sharks... They won't be tamed but they eat fish and not you.
