What was your worse alien encounter?

One time i was travelling around deep with my cyclops and then sudenly a ghost leviathen apeared and guess what? He actually got stuck in my submarine and destroyed my cyclops, killing AND destroying my fully upgraded PRAWN SUIT. I was forced to reload my save obviously.

It was a few game updates ago. I was looking around down in the ILZ and to try and get away from the overly agressive sea dragon went into the lava castle.

While inside of it next to the thermal plant I realised that although, for what ever reason, it couldn't get into the center area itself right there in the tunnel into this place was the sea dragon who had followed me into the caves.

Caves smaller in places than its head is wide I might add.

I was drilling kyanite in the lava zone and a warper was harassing me. After a few seconds, I heard the warper teleporting. Then I turned around to see why and there was a sea dragon swimming towards me. It was the first time I saw one. I already knew everything about this creature, but it was still one of the most terrifying moments of my play through.

Ah yes. luckily the days are gone when the Reaper Leviathan used to phase through the sea floor as you were scanning a valuable fragment. Just patiently looking down as 4 giant claws pop out of the sand. ;)

Been attacked by a warper for the very first time. Also, the way that needle was forced into my arm made me want to punch it.

Thanks for the replies, but RIGHT NOW i went into the crater that leads to the ILZ, i saw the SAME ghost leviathan that killed me bofore, "it is no big deal, i get outside and shoot him with the stasis rifle and attack with knife" i thought. I get out of my ship and i did exactly that, everything was going okay until a SECOND ghost leviathan appears! I am now dealing with 2 adult leviathans, a crapped pair of pants AND my ship is running low on batteries AND i wasted my save trying to fight the first leviathan meaning that i NEED 2 GET OUTTA THERE!!!

Guess what? i got confused, cause that was NOT the big hole that goes to the ILZ, it was the DEAD ZONE, the only place where levithans appear constantly... I am now dead too...

That actually happened to me once, the fishs in my aquarium were bleeding constantly, i thought it was my carnivourous fish eating the others, but it was actually a stupid biter(the small pirana) killing my fish!

I still see that some times. Them crab spiders would actually no clip through the wall and then the game would detect it and teleport it somewhere else.... by teleport it, I mean glitch it allll over the dam place before it dissappears. SO freaky.

Yeah my lifepod has a peeper that is just kinda stuck in the wall. Been there since the game started. Tried slashing/propulsioning it out, it just stays there, staring at me with its lone eye, asking me why I have done this to him (I didn't do anything though).

My scariest experience (so far)-went to the mountain island, got a bunch of stuff (and an infection), was on my way out and sitting there on the beach just chilling was a warper. I hadn't encountered one yet, and it looked mean, so I went around to the other side of the island, and there was another one! Circled around the island again, there was still the one on the beach. "Whelp, guess I live here now", but eventually one of them left and a hauled butt back to my lifepod.

I had just gotten the prawn, got it fully upgraded, found a time capsule that had 2 ion cells in it so put them in the prawn, and went into the lost river. Came back with a load of sulpher and kyanite and went to a little base under the moon pool on the mountain island.
A reaper followed me there but after a while I decided to take off again. Dropped down and WHAM!! it struck. Destroyed the prawn with its cargo as well as the ion cells. The only consolation was that it got stuck there under my base's moonpool so I knifed it to death.

going with my seamoth behind the aurora and having it split in half by a reaper leviathan so yeah...

Kinda weird how lucky i was on my gameplay of this game, cause i was never grabbed by a reaper( i think it's because i knew about the leviathans since the early alpha)
