No thanks. A lot of people enjoy the ability to play the game at there own pace.
I dont think that people will be happy if they die after 50 hours of playing.
Anyway playing is not comfortable if you need be faster than timer.
Just a plot hook designed to spook you.

This is kind of pointless given how easy it is to rush the cure, though. I made a dedicated effort to see how fast it was possible to do, and I was able to do it shortly after the time the Aurora exploded. Didn't even build a Seamoth yet or anything.
