Splitscreen mode?
So no multyplayer? But how about to let players play on on PC or Console? It would be great, of course we need a good optimization to do so, but i have a pretty good pc. I think its a good idea, because you are trying to survive with your friend, in one room, on one TV, this is is so FRKN AWESOME!

Splitscreen is still multiplayer. There is a community built multiplayer mod in the works, though that'll take a long time to build.

If its simple, why dont you make such a mod, you would make alot of people happy.
Clearly according to you, you are more as qualified to do so.

Or are you just like most people throwing around some empty words about stuff he/she has no clue about in a poor attempt to look smart.

Because I think that making a server code is much harder than just put two players in the game and split the screen, iam not a programmer, I only worked in ClickTeamFusion 2.5 before, but that sounds logical to me......

Co-Op would be nice, but I don't want full multiplayer..... There is already to much ♥♥♥♥ to worry about other than other players!!

you are SO wrong, a server code its at least 10 times easier than modifying something you dont have the source code.

Just to reference, im a fullstack developer for 7 years now.

It's an extension of Steam's remote play system. One player owns the game, and other players can join them on controllers as though they're in the room playing together, regardless of their actual location.
It's also irrelevant, as Subnautica is a finished product that does not officially support multiplayer
