How do I turn the Cyclops engine on?

I've just bought the game, thanks to the summer sale, and to get used to the controls I started a creative game. When I built the cyclops and wanted to drive it it said with big letters *ENGINE OFF*. How do I turn it on?

There should be an image that looks like the propellers on the Cyclops windscreen heads up display, press that while at the wheel and it should start the engine

I wish the default FoV would not be so small that you can't actually see the arrow icon :3

I had the same issue. Turning it on is really un-intuitive... I thought I had to find fuel or something. I never would have guessed the power is on the upper left like that. At least make it a big button somewhere, or make it front and center at the hud when it is off (because you're not going to be using anything else until it is on)

I did that and I still cannot start up the engine. It doesn't seem to be responding. I just built the cyclops and tried to pilot it as soon as I built it. Is there something that I am missing?

If you guys are using VR it's a known issue. Otherwise clicking on the propeller icon on top left should start it.

Are your power cells charged? you may need to swap them out or take the depleted ones back to the nearest base quiped with power cell charger, assuming you have one.

The default is what, 60?
Yeah that's a bit too low.
