Bloodroot and Bloodvine...
So it's easy enough to take the oil samples to grow bloodvine in the planters, but is it not possible to plant Bloodroot?. Maybe I am doing something wrong. I already have Bloodvine planted but I also like the look of the Bloodroot but when I plant the Bloodoil from Bloodroot I get Bloodvine...

Can you not grow Bloodroot?

Thx...

Doesn't look like you can plant bloodroot, judging by the wiki.

Near as I could always tell, they where the same plant.

The vine was just the top bit and the root was...Well, the overgrown roots. When they came out of the ground they would just twist up with each other until they found their way back into the ground.

You would need a very....Odd growbed for that to work. Not saying it wouldn't be fun.

If you go down to the blood kelp places you can see they are 2 different plants. Related, yes, but different.

I have been down there many a time and with the way you can see the roots growing though the rock around both plants came to the conclusion that the root was just from a kelp from somewhere further above (or below if the root had grown up inside the wall before emerging from the wall).
That and the way that no matter which plant you took a seed from you got the same plant growing in the bed.

And that's been the logic I worked with.

You could also just scan them and then read your PDA.........
