The floating island just barely aligns with the set of engines on the lifepod's side (that is, in your picture, the left engines)
because I even went behind the aurora and went straight out towards SW, looking left and right as best I can. very likely passed it as it hard to get the seamoth to surface enough to see pass the water.
EDIT: this only works daytime. at night the are dark grey
did also found the mountain, the island with the alien gun, and it also did the same with the floating island. not everything loaded in and i had to circle it a bit before i could see everything and the gun itself, the interior loaded in first for me.
console version of subnautica very much needs more optimizing for better graphics and loading. hopefully, i can get it on PC somepoint.
