Top lifepod hatch or bottom

Exit top first to see the Aurora upon landing. Bottom for the rest of your life.

Not gonna lie, I used to climb to the top every now and then just to chill and enjoy the sunset.

But yeah beyond that, bottom hatch.

It does not matter. You get hit in the head by the metal panel in the first minute. The rest of the game is just a feverish dream while you lie on the floor of the lifepod unconscious.

Top for initial orientation and Sunrises/Sunsets. Bottom for practicality.

Unless I feel like I need the exercise, then top again. ^^

If you don't know this you need to grow up and start actually using more than just your brain stem

The achievement 'Getting Your Feet Wet' applies to diving into the water. What better place to initially do it from than from the top of life pod 5?

Well, to clear all the animations and achievements for certain things, I open the top hatch first, jump into the water for the achievement, then enter and exit the bottom. after that it's bottom until I don't have to touch the lifepod again.

When starting a new game it will be top hatch first to see what angle I am from the ship to get an idea where I started this time.

And then it's back inside and using the bottom hatch for 99.9% of the rest of the game I don't have a base to go to instead.
