Tips Finding Seamoth Fragments
So i've been all over the safe shallows of my very first game, hunting through every bit of wreckage i can find, and i cannot find even a single seamoth fragment =/

anyone have any tips or pointers on where they are? I've even gone out to larger wrecks, i have the vehicle construction thingy, as well as parts to teh Cyclops engine, etc...just no seamoth parts

Have you looked into the small cargo boxes near the wrecks? A fragment should be right under your lifepod

Or go into the crashed ship / but you need a "special tool " to get it. I found only something else in the safe shallows.^^ but not the seamoth fragment it`s not in safe shallows.

Advice : if you go further and deeper you find better stuff. A long time ago it was not like that.

This is my third playthrough in the last 3 weeks. Just started today, and I'm an hour and a half in.

I decided this time to see how I could do without looking up wiki at all. The first two alerts were for Lifepod 17 and then Lifepod 7. By following those transmissions they led me to wrecks next to each lifepod, where I've found the blueprints for the seamoth, the prawn suit drill arm, the mobile vehicle bay, the bioreactor, and the battery charger. Then on my way back to the original lifepod, I found another wreck which had the seaglide fragments.

I remember my other playthroughs taking forever to find the seamoth, so this was interesting. I don't know that it's helpful, but I'm passing it along just in case.

Seamoth frags are in grassy plateau, some are near large wrecks but I've seen a few just lying around. The eastern plateau is pretty easy to find them because there are brain corals for air near the edge of the biome.

Where to find Subnautica Seamoth fragments? I made a quick-and-easy 1-minute guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMJA37oRti4

I hope that helps new players who've stumbled on this thread. Good luck!

If you get a radio you can find wreckage of different life pods, and you can find seamoth fragments there, hope this helps!

the devs have long since changed how to find sea moth fragments in the year it's been since this post, and made fragments easier =P

One tip about fragments, keep tabs on where duplicates are, so you have a titanium source for already scanned ones. Also, unless you want to start scanning right away (Don't blame you, I always do) you need only craft one battery, more can be found in a certain locale, along with an already built flashlight if you look close enough. Save that copper for copper wire, you'll need a fair amount of that later.

Where is the already built flashlight? I've played this game for hundreds and hundreds of hours, multiple playthroughs, for a couple of years and never found the already built flashlight. Tellmetellmetellme, IneedIneedIneed!!!
