Great idea, but the execution is lacking. He's not even scary, he just kind of floats around and rarely ever hurts me even though he's always trying, and the constant phasing through walls is just so frustrating.
He's kind of giant ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I just pretend years of living in the lava zone cooked his brain and try to ignore the fact that a giant dinosaur just swims right through solid rock. He doesn't disappear on me though... he just swims right back through...
I think they should shrink him, make him faster, and more deadly, and more populous. He should be scarier than a reaper and he's just not...
To be honest, after encountering it twice, it does not really do anything like you said and the walk-through-walls is very annoying. I find them much less scary than ghost and reaper leviathans to be honest also
Maybe your cpu's are too busy chugging to load everything, so not much is getting used by the ai.
In fact the first time I went in there, I was i nthe prawn suit; he took pot shots at me.
I came back later in the cyclops and immediatly upon entering the big cavern got agrooed and almost sunk by it!
Didn't help that I was going around in circles there. :-o
Scarrierst moment of subnautica!
