Cave Sulfur do they really not spawn back ?

It look like they don`t spawn back after i have search around in all these same cave.
Well we can use them to make Flare so if they not spawn back then you devs may find one more way to make flare , just a suggestion or you may change the mechanics that way they spawn back pl.

The only resources I know of to respawn are rock chunks (sandstone, limestone ect) and quartz.
But at a rate than is so slow as to be measured in real world days (not counting if you reset the map).

Fish respawn on their own, but if you overfish an area they can be all but wiped out from said area. Though once you can breed them yourself it's a moot point.

Plants can be grown, so once again largely a moot point.

Table corral has the technicality of respawning in that it can sometimes turn up on the back of a reefback.

Scrap metal also seems to respawn, because no matter how much you gather up those stalkers always seem to find more of it.

Cave sulfer does seem to respawn with the respawn of the crashfish but again the respawn of sulfur is much slower than the respawn of the fish itself.


As to making flares. Once you make a torch/flashlight it's a moot point as you will no longer have any, real, use for them. And there are other options for light after that still.

There is also no point asking the devs to make any sort of changes to the gameplay, as they have already stated that the game 'as is' is finished and they have no plans to add and/or change anything else about it (outside of performance improvements).
Anything new will be going into the next game.

Just to make it clear : What`s the point to ask about anything is not up to you dude, basically that advice you should keep for your self.

And which item we choose to use is not up to you either , let us take that decision by that i hope it is clarified.

-- Why all these guesses dude, turn on your scanner and wipe out all metall and wait a while and then take a swim to all these Stalker in the scanner range then you will get it confirmed .

-- By the way i never see any table coral who respawning and they did not respawning years ago and they do not respawning now either, by the way i make a suggestion about table coral should respawning long time ago and i have make a new one now to.

Well It depends on the way the answer is formulated but i guess you understand my point.

I have been in these same cave time after time regularly and i did not see one cave sulfur spawn back and that is pretty strange when all these exploding cave fish spawn back in few minute or what do you think about it !

After I have the first few pieces of the stuff for the few items I need I don't go looking again. I have only seen it had repawned by chance when I came across an area I already knew I had been in and got some but was back looking for other things (mostly quartz. Base is up, tools are made and cyclops is built, now to put windows on everything).

As I said right at the start, the only time I know of resources to respawn is after real world days worth of time.
I never said it was a guess, it's what I have found to happen after playing this game for a longer time than it's been out (so about two years give or take a few months) doing exactally what you said (at the time I had just started and didn't want to leave the safe shallows more than I had to).
The problem is other people will say they don't and neather of us can change the others mind as a quick trip to the search box would show.

As to the rest of your other comment;

To the first bit. No idea what you're on about. Feels like you started one sentance and finished with another. At no point did I say you shouldn't ask if stuff respawns and no idea why you're mad about it.

To the second bit. I never said you could never use it, just that there were a few better options. The fact you're using it leads me to belive you're new to the game and have yet to find this out.

To the third bit. Again. Never said I was guessing.

To the last bit. I said it was a "technicality of respawning". The key word being 'technicality'.
It's not the item itself that is respawning so much as the random items that can be found on the reefbacks back. One of which can sometimes be table corral. Like I said before, if you plan to disagree with what some one typed, read it first.

Everything here in this game is here for a reason and it is very very carefully thought out , you just need to find one and if not then you may missing something just a thought ,-)

First aid kit is a supply item and flare should be the same , maybe the devs forget to spawn them back these cave sulfur or they didn`t think about it.

I know that this was posted a while ago, but from my experience, once the crashfish respawns, lure it out and new cave sulphur will spawn.
