Αναφορά προβλήματος μετάφρασης
as much as i love this mod, i wish people would stop crapping on the devs for not doing it.
these devs have been some of the most open, honest devs i have dealt with.
early on, they decided against mmo/co-op. they had their reasons and they stcuk with it and, in the end, made a great single player game.
as far as i can tell, the devs never said that it could not be done, only that it would take too much time and effort after already making the single player.
it has been other players that shouted it just is not possible.
When a single person who is not familiar with the game code can make a multiplayer mod in a reasonable time, i think the devs can make one too. Don't Starve was also single-player only for a long time, but the players always asked the devs to make a multiplayer mode, so they made one and released it as a second game.
never said they could or couldn't. neither did they. they did say it would have added a lot of time to the table and they didn't want to do that.
what i said is that they made a choice and stuck with it. they made a great game and they deserve credit for it.
people need to understand that they did not do anything wrong by not including multiplayer.
yes, even if people were asking for it.
You dont need help with farming (this isnt ARK where you need to cut down a complete forest to build 4 walls and a roof) because nothing is really ressource heavy.
This is also something i dont get. There is no "endgame" in the classic sence. If you are a new player and get an MK3 module it wont help you in any way. If you dont know were to go, being able to go there matters nothing. If you are a vetaran and know the map inside out, it only speed`s up your game. Ion batteries/cell`s also dont break the game, they only prevent you from constantly going back and recharging, wich only let`s you explore longer. Again, a new player might enjoy a longer trip, a vetaran dont care much. And you can still throw everything you dont want into the void ;).
This is also only my personal opinion
Where in the OP's post was there any crapping on the devs? He simply said they chose not to add multiplayer, which is a simple statement of fact. Sensitive much?
"We would love to, but it would cost too much and take many months..."
One. Single. Mod. Author...
Does it alone in a couple of weeks.
"Here ya go guys, enjoy :)"
Citing that mod as an example of how easy it is to add multiplayer is ironic. Instead, it demonstrates how hard it really is. If the devs delivered something as buggy as this, they would get roasted.
