Any solution for missing fragments?

Ive looked up everything about missing beacon fragments and searched every crate in every wreck in safe shallows and kelp forest, no beacon, I even checked the map to make sure I didnt miss any.

IS this a known bug and any fix for it?

This is not a known bug. Normally the beacons are laying on the ground in debris piles along with the grav trap in the shallows.

A scanner room should be able to locate fragments for you.

Also, not every fragment is going to be found inside of a wreck/crate. I almost always found my fragments a few meters away from crates/wrecks.

The beacon fragments like to troll a lot. I didn't find them at the beginning. But in the midgame I searched the near wrecks and debris again. Just lying there 50 meters away from your lifepod.

I felt so dumb.

Golden rule in this game for me " look for stuff trice ". The first and second time you might miss small things.

Yes, those beacons are tiny. I find them all over the shallows mixed in debris. Usually near the creepvines edges.

I finally found them after one guide showed you might need to actually enter the wreck and open the broken door to get it.

That did it... I really had no idea you actually went into wrecks.

EVERY wreck should be entered. I think only ONE you cant. THey all hold Mod Chips and usually scannable items

All wrecks can be entered. Some might need you to repair something others need you to cut your way in.
And others just need you to find the right door.

And most need any mix of the above.

I have found two wrecks that can not be entered. You need to use the repair tool to repair the door and then it will open, but the repair tool doesn't work on them.

You never really find fragments until after you have the item.

"Yes! I finally have the Seamoth! After such a long time searching :D"

3 days later: "Hmm, I need titanium. Better scan those 5 Seamoth fragments that showed up near my base."
