Impatience is not a virtue. Many players don’t want their hand held during a survival game.
That’s why they call it a survival game, by the way.
I'm sure this game would be much better with an objective waypoint system.
"go to the undersea reef and collect 10 lithium."
"Explore the alien ruins and access the central computer"
"Collect the Cyclops blueprint from the wreckage at the waypoint"
The thumbnails suck but the content is excellent.

As to the game itself, I love it exactly because it really does feel like you're on your own after a bad accident. I knew immediately when I hit the water that I needed to examine everything, get food, get water, get tools and find out everything about where I just landed.
exercise a little curiosity and ingenuity and you'll figure it out.
