make sure you have room in your storage otherwise it won't work
To suicide dive for crystaline sulfer, park your seamoth OUTSIDE of the brine. Orient yourself so you're directly above the sulfur piece, dive straight down, grab it, and swim straight up. You should survive. Use a medkit.
If you park the seamoth inside the brine, thinking you'll save time by starting out closer to the sulfur, you will experience the unfortunate feature (bug?) that if you enter a seamoth while you are currently taking damage from brine, you will for some reason continue to take damage from the brine until you are dead.
Apparently, your character doesn't dust himself off before getting in the car... ;D
