But connecting base parts is one of the things that has gotten overall worse over the course of development rather than better. With some exceptions like fixing "Not allowed to stack MP rooms if you built literally anything in yout MP room" sorted at least.
Moonpool in particular is still very janky. So you will probbaly need to add extra hallways to your base just for more leeway to put it on.
The advertsised dream is this.

But what you will mostly be wrestling with, is this sort of thing.

So the MP room matters not just for the base objects that can only be built in an MP room. But because the extra empty space means dealing with less (not stopping, just less) wacky placement logic.
I did the whole build a base out of tubes and x parts and it sucks.
Swinging into threads with newbies asking questions just to white knight and offer no advice to the new guys. Sorry state of a "Veteran community"
You know you've hit rock bottom in stretching for excuses, when your only card left is "Um, uh... what's your profile say bro?".
The fact gullible children will fall for that distraction is actually why I'm set to private these days. When I was public, that still wouldn't stop the "LOL you don't own the game!" derails, despite the fact killing floor 1 was packed in for free with KF2 preorders, so literally impossible to not own the game regardless of having bought it years ago.
So might as well set it to private, and draw attention to people with no leg to stand on if that's their only argument.
This game would probably be in a better state if more players cared about the quality of the game, than being the first to rush in and brush off flaws and demand nerfs for what actually worked.
My favorite is when, instead of just replying to the topic at hand he goes on a rant about other “issues” that he has. And then he will finish his paragraphs with “oh but it’s a good game”. The hypocrisy gets me good sometimes. Other times I have to worry because with all of the salt some sort of heart condition must plague him.
Make your bug reports, that’s wanted and expected.
But the fact remains that you complain about something in almost every post you make and then switch stories in the same post. You’ve even gone as are as calling Devs trolls in the past. You disappeared for six months after people called you out on this crap before and then suddenly after release you showed up again. Only to make snarky unhelpful comments and act like every bug under the sun should have been fixed before release.
You refuse to accept that some issues may not be fixable by Devs alone and you refuse to accept any kind of patchwork they may try to add to make these issues better.
For $25 I demand aligned lockers!
Lord have mercy. Later y'all. Ima go play.
I have 900+ and don't complain as much, probably because I spent 3K+ hours in Sky..ahem Bugrim. :P Oh, and barring that one update that lead us to crash 20hrs in (would stutter then crash) and the only way to fix that was to clean the cellscache, this game (Subnautica) has never CTD'd on me (Neither has Skyrim after spending countless hours tweaking it, now I have it down packed so I can go from vanilla to a modded stable in a few hours, but that was after years of tweaking knowledge and error checking). So if you add in all that, those 3K is more like 7-9K outside of the game. :P Subnautica did not require all that much.. and still doesn't. Plus, it doesn't need adult mods to "keep me interested". :P
Please do not tell me Bethesda expects modders to fix their games, otherwise why would they lock down certain mods in Creation Club? Their whole intention is to monetize all mods. As far as I know the devs of Subnautica have only voiced their political lines, and never pushed lootcrates, CC, monetized workshop, etc into their game. Also, the asking price, even at 25 USD is less than half that of Skyrim upon release, moreso if you count the DLC.
Killing Floor was a mod before it was released as a standalone.. and KF2 I, personally, hated. Plus if you add up all the cost of DLC for KF (which is mostly skins) it would be more than double the price of Subnautica. I do have more hours in KF than Subnautica.. (tried getting Suicidal/HoE map cheevos) but I played it only multiplayer (I could probably get the HoE/Suicidal ones if I played solo). It is a great multiplayer game, but probably overrun with trollers nowadays.. haven't played in years, I'd probably have difficulty on normal. :P
I would assume that it was one particular locker and not all of them right? The tubes kind of mold together when attached so it probably had an issue with one of the end lockers I bet. Same reason why you can’t just deconstruct a multipurpose room if there’s stuff in it.
