No silver ore in the scanner room list

Help me out on this one, please. I build base at the entrance to the lost river and in the scanner room on the list of materials I can seek, I don't have silver ore. Why is that. There is prown suit drill arm which I already have, so don't need it. What's up with this?

You have to move around a little, the scanner room depends on what's rendered and what isn't.

Well there are Sandstone outcrops in the Lost River but yeah I've never seen any drillable silver.

Set to Outcrops, and 33% you get silver :)
Also, don't forget to put 4 range extender in the upgrades, get the HUD chip for yourself, all other upgrades are useless.

Often times when you first reload into the game the map has yet to repawn around you until you go out into it (or send a drone, that works to). Once you do the list should start to update itself again.

I always leave one drone from a scanner room out there by a hundred meters or so just for this reason. Load into game, load up drone, reset list.

It's not very well implemented. You basically have to go out and run a lap around the area yourself or with a camera to reload the terrain.

Though even if you do that, Silver seems particularly stingy despte being on the scan list at times. I got one base at the edge of the safe shallows and even with upgrades, no show for silver.

I just drilled some big nodes of silver in the early lava biomes at least. Which isn't far past the lost river. But that's not much of a help if you are still gearing up, because by the time you go to the lava biomes you're essenitally on your last trip to trigger the final backtracking fetch quests.

If the wiki is to be belived, you should be able to find large deposits of it in there.

i think there is silver, but only tiny amounts in sandstone chunks, i had a base next to the Cove Tree and i found Sandstone chunks near the Lost River / Cove Tree entrance,
