So there should be two beacons that get triggered for the Degasi habitats, one at a depth of (250m) and then that should be triggering one for a Proposed Degasi habitat at 500m, the one you want to find.
You'll have to forgive me, having played the game so many times and so many updates since my first runs, I don't actively pay attention to those signals now as I already know the expected path.
Perhaps having found the 250m base in the Jelly caves before the Floating islands one has confused the game. Have you actually been back to the Jelly caves since? There is one PDA in the broken off hatch section at the front entrance there too, easy to miss if you just explore the main structure.
SPOILER: So the Deep Grand Reef entrances scatter the seafloor pretty much directly below that little landbridge on the Floating island, if you are bugged out and needing to continue, just go straight down from there, look for the holes in the floor and explore that cave. It's pretty big but should be fairly easy to spot the next habitat. I would re-visit the Jelly caves first though.

Alien Containment you'll find in the base we're talking about above so normal you don't have that quite yet.
Exterior Growbed blueprints are on the Floating Islands, both the indoor and exterior can be found there.
Cyclops depth modules.... hmm, I'll look that up for you, I thought it just became automatically available, however it is built in the normal Modification Station, not the Vehicle or Cyclops Mod station.
-----
Let me know if you want some screenshots of the way down to that Deep Grand Reef entrance and I'll pop on and sort you out with some :)
Yea I'm cool with all that.
I got PDAs in jelly shroom and it's did not give me a location in the grand reef... so I think my game bugged.
I'm all about exploring. I know how it all works. I use scanners to find databoxes, looked in wikis, etc.
I got two locations for proposed bases at 250m and thats it. I'm gonna go follow them both but I think they go to the same place. Probably check all the other beacons again too. I think I missed a PDA somewhere and not sure where...
Think I need to start over.
No no you are fine, you could ignore all radio calls and PDAs and complete the game no problem, they are just clues. You are about at the place where clues start getting sparse and cryptic too.
The 250m base has other platforms around it in that cave, make sure you explore all the cave, you'll find more PDA's. Check the habitat and it's surroundings again, there are several PDA's there. One will lead you to the 500m proposed habitat.
This is your last official breadcrumb for the storyline in terms of PDA/radio calls, so pay attention to the PDA's at the 500m base and you'll get a clue that's easy to miss, but pretty plain obvious when you read it well.
The original question has already been answered but there's one theme that will carry you over all the game's "dead spots" in terms of storyline guidance: Go Deeper.
In all things Subnautica, when not sure what to do or where to go next, go deeper.
So there's for sure a beacon for that? Like I said I got two proposed habitat beacons but both point to the same location at 250m in jellyshroom. Anyone know the exact PDA that gives you the location? I'm getting a headache from it now... just want to move on.
I'm guessing that means there's still a PDA in Jellyshroom somewhere I'm missing. I have a full scale nuclear base down there with an extra prawn suit and fully upgraded seamoth... I'm surprised I missed anything. I've farmed like two full lockers full of magnetite...
Off the top of my head you should have had a beacon come up for the 500m proposed habitat and shouldn't have 2 for the 250m proposed habitat.
Did you check the broken off hatch in the Jellyshroom for another PDA?
If you are bugged, which you might be, just let us know and we'll direct you there instead :)
Basically though, just go walk around the Grand Reef floor in your prawn, you'll find the entrances to the Deep Grand Reef and the next base easy enough then.
Also been to both islands exploring quite a bit, been to rendezvous point, etc. I have a full base on the floating island and one under the mountain island on the sea shelf. Been around quite abit.
I think I went out of order or something and it messed it up. I found something before I should have.
I'll try just walking around in the prawn in the grand reef, I have a full base over there too up higher right on the edge.
Anyways found 2 PDAs down there and it gave me radio message about lifepod 2 or something CTU someone or other. Haven't followed that yet. Not long after another garbled alien message...
So I'm guessing I'll go the lifepod and find a PDA with survivor data but no leads on the story and Ill be stuck again.
Really love the mystery and the way they did it, guess I just didn't pay enough attention.
Only lead I got was PDA lady made comments about what I think is the Lost River, which I know where she made the comments but not sure how to get into the river... it's so dark down there.
That last base, if you look around at the floor outside, you should see a general slope going further down (Most likely the opposite direction from your way back out. Shouldn't take more than a few seconds travelling this way in a vehicle for you to notice a distinctly different biome!!
From this point on, it's going to come down to a bit of exploration throughout that new biome, it's enclosed nature makes this a fairly logical process and you're in for some real treats as you discover new things :) Congrats on finding that last Degasi base too!
Oh haha yeah that is a very intersting bit of lore in there about the Precursors, you can craft more Purple tablets now you've found one for 1 x Ion Cube and 2 x Diamonds, so those 4 Ion cubes mean you basically traded 2 x Diamonds for 3 x Ion Cube and a great bit or story lore!
As nothing pointed me towards the next step, I found the 500m degasi base and the lost river by pure chance, in fact I found the river before the 500m base... I don't know if that was supposed to happen.
You know the seamoth has headlights? It's the right mouse button (not sure about if you're using a controller).
Beyond that, just keep trying to find ways to go deepter. The terrain seems designed to eventually lead you to the lost river.
Pretty sure this is what I have going on. Except I haven't found the lost river yet, just got near enough for PDA lady to mention it.
Heading to lifepod 2 later, that's where the PDA from grand reef said to go. Expecting another deadend...
