Abyssal mushrooms, can we produce them ourself in plant-boxes ?

Hi, I tried to cultivate them such as Orin fruits & plant, but it works not with mushrooms, one doesn’t make babies lol 😂

Could be useful and mostly I searched for my base others useful stuffs to cultivate, not only Orin both parts, etc.

Is there a solution or is it just not possible to produce mushrooms ?
Or could we hope to see more stuffs to produce by under-water gardening ?

Yes there are, may they aren’t called abyssal mushroom in English, but it’s ltteral traduction of how devs called it in French... so, yes there are.

U need them to produce acid (3mushrooms + 1salt), wich is needed to produce the green liquid necessary for advanced stuffs (I forget the name of green liquid sorry... pelrinite, pelritine ? Something like that)

But yes, I assure u, there are abyssal mushrooms 🍄 lol

O ok in English it's "Deep Shrooms". You can grow them in an exterior growbed and cut them for seeds to replant. The liquid is Polyanaline.

But I tried to replant, it doesn’t work in practice.
Well yes, we can replant, but that doesn’t grow or produce more over, etc...
So, no real intrest to replant in practice.

Or does it take more longer time maybe or do I need to replant many to see more appear next ? I doubt of that but why not...
I waited 2days and 1 replanted wasn’t enough, no more rise after from the boxes, u see ? 😭

The problem you're having is that you don't harvest them from the planter. You cut them with your knife to get seeds to replant. Each one gives 4 seeds when cut with a knife and each seed will grow to be 1 mushroom.
Same with acid mushrooms.
Blood oil already contains a seed that will grow blood kelp that will give blood oil.
And of course you can use creepvine seeds to grow creepvines to harvest at your base.

Many of the plants in subnautica will give plantable seeds when cut with a knift.

You can also use the planter built into the alien containment tank in your base to grow stuff.
