Thank you for the speedy answer, even though I was hoping for a different one. :)
Well it’s another feature for the seamoth. Decoys are in the cyclops. Honestly none of the vehicle mods are meant for killing Leviathans. They can usually be outright avoided.
You can only craft more torpedoes, at a vehichle upgrade station. Which can only be put in a moonpool.
Have fun ever reloading your torpedo launchers even if you WANT to use them, without a U turn back home or stopping to build a fresh moonpool.
Unless that little black hole from the vortex torpedo is sending them to an alternate universe I'm pretty sure that the smaller creatures sucked into it die when they disappear.
Even then they are clunky as they only detonate at a set distance or when hitting a wall, they can clip right through a creature and keep going. If they could be remote-detonated when desired they'd be much more useful.
Not in my experience, one grabbed me and I let loose two torpedos and he still didn't let go until I was down to 30% hull.
