Yea, Bear Grylls it up man.
Once you find out how to grow melons it becomes less dramatic, since you can fill up on food and water from a few garden plots every time you visit your base instead of spending time chasing fish. Melons are too big to carry enough for a long trip, though. If you're going to explore for a while, there's no way around needing a few inventory slots for cured fish and water bottles.

I don't mean to be ignorant but driving a fng honda CRV on a road like that? With ONE bottle of water? and friggin beer? what the hell does a person need beer for, not supposed to be driveing and even the most uneducated person knows alcohol dehydrates you. I took the local's warnings to heart on my trip to vegas when I toured the surrounding dessert areas, I had a cooler full of water and two whole cases in the trunk at all times.
If memory serves, I found that print in a wreck in floater island direction.
