Warper Removal Mod

Sick of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ things, is there a mod that removes them? I'm fine with all the other creatures but not this one

I agree. I'm also tired of the sand sharks, bonesharks, reapers, ghosts, ampeels, crashfish, crabsquid, crabsnakes, river prowlers, biters, blighters, sea dragons, lava lizards, and mesmers.

Let's get a mod that takes all that garbage out of the game, then it will be fun.

This mod isn't exactly what you describe OP but it makes some changes (especially the Easy Mode setting) that may make dealing with Warpers easier for you.

That said...you can also git gud.

i have no problems with warpers, just keep your distance. they won't bother you if you stay away, and they're pretty slow, so they can't chase you

And honestly, the most annoying thing they do is warp you out of a vehicle. But...

- you are never warped too far away from the vehicle
- you might get attacked, but if you keep your wits about you it isn't hard to escape with minimal effort
- if you are grappling in the PRAWN when you get warped out, the PRAWN will stay at the same position and not go into free-fall

In other words...Get good.

As much as i hate the warpers, they are awesome, because they make the places they are in ten times more scary

I'm more interested in long overdue bugfixes.

All the one liners about "It's not hard, LOL! Git Gud" don't hold up when they fire their shots through walls, or teleport you outside of the map geometry, etc.

Might as well tell people they should have been careful with their air meter when they clip through the floor and can't get back into the map proper before they die. That's the logic of telling people to Git Gud over such buggy gameplay. And also a concern for people when dealing with warpers.

I haven't been killed by a warper in well over a year (Been lucky with the insane bugs on their front beyond following me indoors) and I can admit they are all kinds of screwy a lot of the time.

Even when it's not bugs, it's eye rolling to have seen changes over the years that show how much of a lazy crutch design they are as an enemy.

All the people saying Git Gud, are not only idiots, but are also missing the point entirely. Warpers aren't difficult, they don't kill me, they don't break my stuff (except when they warp me out of my prawn and it plummets into lava) literally all they are is a nuisance when you're going around doing your stupid chores in this game. Also they're loud as ♥♥♥♥ for no reason.

There is one easy way to make warmers your friends......... or at the very least ignore you totally.
