Vehicle upgrade console?

I've avoided using wikis until now, but for the life of me I can't find any fragments for this thing. I've got the seamoth, Cyclops, most of the modification upgrades, and most of the habitat blueprints, but I haven't found a single upgrade fragment and it's really impeding my progress. Doesn't help that the wikis seem to be out of date.

Any hints?

The videos of old builds I saw got them in fragments, so maybe that has changed. If that's the case I must have the worst luck.

Go wreck hunting and as has been said look for databoxes.

The only wrecks I haven't been to are the ones that are above my seamoth's crush tolerance. I guess I gotta take the Cyclops out

I haven't been in the aurora yet, that was next on my to do list. Are there data boxes in there?

Yes this has been changed. Be careful watching old videos, many of them are irrelevant now due to changes in the game.

Look for a wreck slightly north of Lifepod 19. On a hill just north of the wreck you will find the data box.

There arent any databoxes in the aurora, but you can get the prawn suit from it to go to the deeper wrecks

Or build an upgraded depth module for your Seamoth at a Modification Station. Mk2 takes you to 500m, Mk3 takes you to 900m.

There's fragments in wrecks, I think there's also a fragment in the Seamoth room of the Aurora.

The utility in question still doesn't have fragments (anymore).
