Haha yeah, it seems like fun at first but the constant screaming quickly gets on your nerves lol
Warpers, I actually fear them more than any other creature when playing hardcore mode, that warp sort of deletes your entire awareness and control. One is not so bad, but when two gang up on your it can be brutal.
There's only one Leviathan I've found to be a threat to bases, and that's primarily down to it using the spray and pray method of hunting.
Yeah, my main concern is with the Cyclops. If I forget to raise the shields, I'll end up having about a third health within only a few seconds. At the moment I can't move it somewhere safer than below the rock bridge, where the Ghost tends to stay away from.
Right now the thing patrols next to my base and keeps attacking a Warper that keeps teleporting in, and the screaming is driving me batty.
Kind of depends where you are relative to the leviathan's patrol route. If you can figure that out then you can park the Cyclops up just out of range (are you leaving the lights on in the Cyclops? Usually the Ghosts will ignore the Cyclops if the lights and engine are off; I've survived a couple of attacks in the Lost River by pretty much playing dead). If it's the Warper luring it in it should head back to it's regular patrol after it's made an attack; if you can park the sub so there's a rock or the like in the way it'll usually bounce off when it attacks and then wander away.
