Subnautica
What happened to all other survivors?
I mean yeh we see that their pods are destroyed when we get there, but they sent out distress calls first, so they didn't die during landing. So they must have moved away? I mean we can imagine that they all got eaten, but really? They have the same chances to survive as us, surely some must have also made it? Do we get to see them later in the game?

Fauna destroyed them. The remaining ones that survived the elements, the Warpers hunted them down and killed them.
Blergh had the definitive answer to the OP's question.

The people aboard Lifepod 6 died after a flare ignited the fuel line.
Jochi Khasar (aboard Lifepod 13) died on impact.
The inhabitant(s) of Lifepod 4 became Reaper chow.
The "doctor" in Lifepod 12 died due to illness.
One of the two people in Lifepod 2 drowned.
CTO Yu (of Lifepod 2) and Commander Keen (Lifepod 19) both survived long enough to reach the rendez-vouz point. From there they tried to reboard the Aurora, but were killed by unknown causes there.
Everyone else was probably taken by the Warpers.

Yu and Keen actually were alive when the player was alive and conscious. One of the messages from them talks about Alterra HQ sending plans to the Aurora. That is the same message you get from Alterra HQ. So, that means they were alive when that message arrived. No, I don't think they actually have models or anything in game, so even if you got there before that message arrived, you would never see them.
I'm 99% sure the guy on board Lifepod 4 was eaten by the reaper leviathon (cuz of the PDA) and cuz I was exploring the Aurora crash and the PDA's AI said "Warning. Scans show the digestive tracts of nearby life forms contain human tissues."

And the survivors on Lifepod 6 were 'sploded. I'm sure everyone agrees to that.
The lifeforms in ^that message are the Cave Crawlers. Read their PDA description.

Best PDA voice log in the game IMHO. Chilling.

That or Ozzy's. For some reason Ozzy almost made me cry (figuratively speaking :steammocking:) :cozypoesad:. Jochi's message honestly freaked me out.

Here’s the best I can theorize:

Lifepod 12: Danby most likely died from the Khaara bacterium (whether by the infection itself or by Warpers maintaining the quarantine is up in the air). Alternatively, he may have drowned or gotten killed by Bonesharks or Ampeels.
[/quote]
Now you mention it, I reckon Danby died from Warper attack. There’s a line that can be triggered when you enter the Deep Grand Reef, which reads:

"RADIO: ▀▖┗▛Subject 11783 destroyed. Mode ▄▖▜▚┣: patrol.
New targets unaccounted for: 1."

Now I’m not sure about whether Warpers are active near where Danby ends up, there is an entrance to the super deep areas nearby, so it is possible that they popped up to attack him, and then decided to go back down. They wouldn’t have done that to the player, as they are a significant distance away from the player. More to the point, they would have attacked Danby. If we take the chart that you can find on the Warper Page, you can see that they are only aggressive against an infected player. We Know that Danby is infected, as the PDA that you can recover tells us so.

Also, Berkeley was the other guy in Lifepod 2

or did they? [ 'X files' music]

it's because of 3 factors: the enviroment or the warpers, and the Khaar (aka carar)

I think what didn't kill them like the crash itself and the dire situations/locations they found themselves I think it was more the warpers. A radio message you get once seems to be a transmission it picked up and goes something like "targets unaccounted for: 1" in a robotic voice, which I assume means you. So I think what killed or nearly killed some, the rest were finished off by warpers or other larger creatures. I just want to know why we never see bodies, unless they were eaten.
jochi kashar died on landing
what i think happened:

lifepod 2: died by drowning and/or ghost leviathan, yu escaped and died later by reaper attack
lifepod 3: both killed by stalkers and/or bonesharks attack (one may have been by a boneshark and other by a stalker maybe?)
lifepod 4: attacked by a reaper
lifepod 5: Alive
lifepod 6: both exploded
lifepod 7: attacked by bonesharks
lifepod 12: died by kharraa and/or warper attacks (may have gotten hurt by a warper attack and with kharaa already on him, died of infection), alternatively, may also had died of drowning or attacks by bonesharks/ampeels. (or just a mix of them all or some of them, we never know)
lifepod 13: died on impact
lifepod 17: killed by a crabsnake or reaper leviathan (probably got hurt by a crabsnake, not know if he was killed by a leviathan or a crabsnake, i think he got killed by a leviathan)
lifepod 19: died by reaper attack, predation by other animals, exhaustion (subsequent drowning) or radiation. (possibly a mix of all or some of them, as i said before, we never know)
other lifepods: destroyed by the gun shot on aurora (or maybe a secondary shot?), destroyed on impact and not recovered or fallen into the void/dead zone and subsequently attacked by ghosts (after exiting the lifepod or the ghosts attacked THE LIFEPOD), kharaa or hunger/exhaustion and radiation if fallen quite next to aurora and possibly destroyed and its debris fallen into the void
also the bodies were probably eaten/exploded (carbonized) or, due to the time it takes to get there on survival, became bones and floated out the lifepod maybe? you know nature is strange
