Report a translation problem
I had 1 that was usually in the lower areas of the gun platform but after several fights and it running away, it now hangs around the mushroom trees near the gun.
But they aren't your main concern. Warpers are the real problem. And they spawn all over the place.

I've noticed that when you fight a Reaper, at a certain point (I think after so much damage taken), it will turn and flee. That's how mine ended up moving from behind the Aurora over towards my base, where it then noticed my Seamoth and focused in on that, he won that fight against my unpiloted moth but lost the war
if they stray away after chasing you, they should go back to the "cell" they came from imo
