purpose of repairing drive core leaks?
So in the Aurora you can repair 10 radiation leaks in the drivecore chamber.
However, after doing that i still need my radiation suit whenever i get near the ship.

Are there some consequenses if you dont repair them within 24 hours like the AI suggests?

Yea the radiation doesn’t go away automatically. You have to give it a while. I believe it’s around 2-3 in game days.

You’ll def want to do it ASAP so you can find and use the reinforced/stillsuits later.

No, there's nothing that I know of, and I've always been slow to get anything done in this game. But a few (in game) days after the repairs you wont need the rad-suit.

If you didn't listen to the audio message that came across your PDA when you finished repairing the drive cores you can go back and review it in your PDA. As Lucki says, it takes time for the radiation to dissipate.
