How do you get the Atlas Submarine?
I know it's not implemented but is it available via console command or mod? if so what is the command and/or how do you get mods for Subnautica?

^my reaction to the statement above

I'm fairly certain a logical extension of Godwin's law is that any forum conversation will eventually include any possible topic, including making love to a fish.

Also, it's a very lonely planet, thank you very much!

I'm just gonna leave this here with no further explanation because life on Subnautica can get a bit lonely at times:

Might have to start a tank of those. The mesmer's bite is a pretty big con after all. Or is that a pro?

The devs never even created an offical model for it. There was someone else in the community that created it, in the hopes of having the devs implement it, so it's not exactly youtube clickbait as it was a possibility. However when the finished project was recently presented to the devs, they wouldn't take it, as any model that wasn't made directly by them, regardless of quality, apparently "would ruin their vision." That was our only hope of ever seeing it fully fleshed out. I do understand why it never evolved past concept art. At full size it could house your entire cyclops, seamoth and PRAWN and maybe then some. It's just way too massive when I think of the trouble I have sometimes even navigating with the cyclops. Only purpose I imagine it having is navigating the void, which I think is now called the Dead Zone.

As far as I’m aware Devs have never accepted any designs for any item outside of their own creation and art team. So this vehicle was never a possibility.

Not to mention this vehicle just isn’t right for this game. It’s way too big. There’s nothing in the void to explore so not super useful there either.

I believe there's a couple creatures in the game right now that were designed by someone else as a fan creation, and was presented to them, polished and added. The atlas itself was designed by the devs, I believe origionally labelled as the Beluga, and later renamed, though they could be two seperate ships. Someone simply took their concept and created the 3D model for it. So the very fact it was even a concept art meant it was a possibility at some point. But as we both pointed out. It's can't fit into like, 90% of the places on the map. And there's zero use for going into the dead zone, other than just for the hell of it.

the atlas sub was just a model made by a player that wants it to be in the next expansion theres no way to get it now and its not clickbait but just because the devs dont use the model to create the sub in the arctic biome it doesnt mean its clickbait you can look on some websites you can find the atlas model the reason why its not part of the normal map is because its to big for the areas but if you support the project instead of saying its "clickbait for not being put into the game" then the devs will consider adding it

they could still recreate the model in their own vision for the arctic dlc though

It's an art. One that you are clearly a fan of.

Or you wouldn't be here.
