About Marblemelon, how does it grow from small to big?

So I have Marblemelon seed and plant it on flowerpot. I only got small marblemelon which is 1 slot. How to grow 4 slot big marblemelon?

Slice it with your knife and it will produce 4 seeds that will grow into large melons (these will still only take up one slot each but will technically be "large" when harvested).

So if I put 4 seeds on same pot it wont grow larger?

4 seeds in the same pot will grow into 4 large marblemelons. The "small" melon is not something you can actually grow. It's just something the Devs put in there to add variety and give you the option of not taking up so much space in your inventory when you first find them on the Island.

So what you want to do is plant 4 seeds, then when they mature, eat up to 3 of them, then slice the last one for 4 more seeds and re-plant.
