Hookshot for traversal, Drill for drilling and defense. I don't find the propulsion cannon very useful and don't like the torpedoes.
The only downside is that you need to actually get out of the suit to collect something you drilled, but that's a minor issue for me.
I usually spiderman through caves with the grapple and use the drill for mostly defense 80% of the time and mining the other 20%
The propulsion cannon arm would be useful if it were an 'industrial strength' version as the description says, able to move larger objects such as bone sharks and stalkers. But as it stands it's pretty much the exact same strength as the hand-held version, which makes it pretty much a waste of resources as you can just use the standard one when needed.
