Trick to putting four lockers on a wall?
To maximize storage, I try to place four lockers on walls in a multip[urpose room. Sometimes it takes several tries to get them to work right, and the most I've been able to do is three walls with four lockers. Is like some walls have different hit boxes. I always find one wall with plenty of room for four, and maybe wo other ones, that I have to make several attempts to place four. Is there any tricks I dont know about?

Use the storage lockers? The ones that go on the floor.
Two of them holds more than three of the wall lockers and takes up about the same amount of space and you can place them all over the room and not just on (against) the walls.

At least that's what I do.

This is true. 2 lockers will give you 6 more inventory spaces than 3 wall lockers. However I like a high degree of organization to my store room. I think a mixture of both is optimal. I dedicate an entire multipurpose room to storage and I use a mixture of 8 lockers and 12 storage lockers. I put the ladder in the middle so I have all 8 walls to put lockers on plus I can add lockers around the ladder if I need to. All lockers are labeled with contents and it works quite well.

Im not asking what kind of lockers I should use, Im asking if anyone knows a trick to fitting four wall lockers on each wall.

Actually, what I do, is put wall lockers as high as I can, then put two storage lockers in front of them. I dont ike the storage lockers cuz they dont have labels. Some walls, I can fit four wall lockers, (which fits more than the two storage lockers) and some I can only fit three. Why is that?

As soon as I figure out how to post a screenshot, I'll show you how I do it.

If only there were horizontal lockers..it certainly would be easier.

The bench should IMO contain storage-room as well. It's large enough.
Not sure how easy or difficult it would be to program because they already have an interaction, but there are multiple objects with more than one use.

Whats wrong with putting four wall lockers on a wall instead of three? Mines pretty efficient. I have a lot more lockers than you do, so more options for hoarding. I really wish they had a 'snap' for building though...

I use my moon pool as my storage area, LOTS of wall space.

The counter looks like it has drawers to put things in them.

Don't take offense, nothing is wrong with it :) . I just prefer symmetry and all locker contents identified with signs so I place the glass lockers on 4 walls (where I can place signs on the wall above them) and fill the rest with wall lockers. I realize there are ways to get more storage space crammed in there but I like the clean way my system looks. It's mostly personal preference.

More storage yes, but it looks cluttered. Like onlyzuul said, personal preference.

The question is still open 3 years later. Why only sometimes you can fit 4 lockers on a wall of the multipurpose room? Is it something you can fiddle with until you get it right? Is it connected to the orientation of the base? There are mods now that force it but I haven`t tried yet.

What i like to do it place windows afterwards for the looks. You can`t recreat the spacious sensention with the moonpool (or even the large room from below zero) as you have with a 7/6 windowed multipurpose room with lockers high up.

MP rooms don't have much wall space and are inefficient. An "X" with corridors is much more efficient.
