The Lava Larva from a certain angle, from the underside there hidious, just seeing then from a top down angle they look cute as they bob up and down swimming along, then they give your vehicles a kiss then.....not so cute.

I wish you could play with every fish you hatch yourself in the same way you can play with the cuddlefish. how cool would that be? Or give them names so you can tell them apart from wild fish.

The Cuddlefish is awesome if you let him out into the wild, and would be awesome if I could just hold him in my inventory, take him out on my hotbar and watch him react like a baby being carried, but one is dangerous and one is impossible. :(

The hoverfish is cute but I can’t get attached to it because I use it as bait when hunting. Peepers and Boomerangs are attracted to it for some reason and if you’re holding one and floating in one spot they’ll just swim right up to you.

#1 for CUTEST is of course the Cuddlefish. I love the Magic Trick treat animation.
The GREATEST creature is the Sea Emperor Leviathan. I love everything about her; the devs hit it out of the park with that one.
The prize for "I'm gonna fill my containment unit with this" goes to the rabbitray. They're just fantastic.
For a fish small enough for my Aquarium, I like the hoopfish. They are like brilliant neons in there!
Scariest creature is still the Reaper. Sorry Ghost Leviathan, you have a creepy howl, but it's kind of an empty threat. Sorry, Sea Dragon, you breathe fire and all, but you ain't exactly stealthy. No. The experience that panics me still is trundling along in my Bubble Car and seeing a giant fish mouth out of seemingly nowhere.

Best in show though is Sam (a.k.a. Jack's Septic Tank). I have like 10 of those all around my breakroom.
