Game Won't Launch

Before I updated the game, it was getting to the loading screen and staying there for ten minutes until I closed it. Now, when I go to launch the game, it won't even begin the execution of the file. It says for about two seconds that it's running and then just stops. No prompts, no crashes, it just doesn't go. Any idea what's causing it? My hardware is plenty for the game.

Nothing there helped. I don't know what the actual problem is.

im having the same proble. click play and it doesnt do anything else after that.

Mine isn't working exactly... the icon for it appears on the taskbar and I can hear the menu music, but nothing happens on the desktop.

Maybe try uninstall, reinstall, or verify integrity?

tried all that, defragged my disks, uninstalled both the game and Steam and reinstalled and nothing is working

Ditto...game icon appears on the taskbar and I can hear the menu music, but can't maximize to play the game. I've tried the trouble shooting here as well as the pinned suggestions from the devs.

Mine won't do anything either. Was fine before the update. Now I get to the main menu (music, nice wavy water) and when I click play nothing happens. Also tried "troubleshooting" and uninstall/reinstall.

restarted my computer and the game loaded up no problems....seems to be some process that isnt shutting down properly after opening it the first time that stops the game from loading.

Update: The game ran earlier today just fine, and now, it won't run again. I was also able to run Battlegrounds fine earlier, but now when I launch it, my frame rate must be like 10 FPS. Whatever is causing th eproblem for the one is also doing the other

Hello, I'm having the same issue atm, currently I'm trying to re-install the game after unistalling. I also looked into the troubleshooting list, but nothing there helped. Anyone of you guys got lucky?

Still not working. Tried to clean my caches/registers, tried to launch it with experimental build.

And followed those instructions. Now I get a black screen with the cursor and the music in the background. Any help please?
