Disappointing Wrecks
Ok, maybe the RNG is just weird but has anyone else went through a wreck and found no fragments actually INSIDE the wreck? I just went to the Dunes wreck and that is the most disappointed I've ever been when wreck diving in this game. I found 3 boxes (1 had something I had already) inside the wreck. I would have considered it a total loss if it weren't for the fact I found a couple of moonpool fragments east of the wreck in the area around. Enough for me to make my damned moonpool and finish my modification station. Also, watching a warper being attacked and beaten by sand sharks is also entertaining :D

Yeah, that same dunes wreck actually. Seems a bit of a waste to brave the reapers in that area and actually go out to it, only to find it's empty. I have had it happen with a couple of others too.

Just did the two Grand Reef wrecks and that was disappointing as well. So much empty space. The only thing I could come up with for a possibility was that the wrecks aren't spawning fragments for things we've already found. But then again, the nearer Grand Reef wreck had plenty of PRAWN drill and grappling arms around it but almost nothing within. It gets annoying and frustrating to spend the time going through laser doors only to find a box that you can't use because you already have the blueprint, a single PDA and nothing else.

Yup, have found an empty wreck or two, but that was when I already had most, if not all of the blueprints, so it didn't really bother me.

i was still able to find supply boxes and datapads though.

Yeah, my experience has been finding a rush of things in the first couple of wrecks, and then only the occasional chest with water bottles. I'm woefully short of moon pool parts or more advanced blueprints, which makes exploring frustrating at best.

It would be nice to at least have more valuable trinkets the further you go out. Instead of water (one of the dead easiest things to make five minutes in), maybe a wiring kit or the rare computer chip in later chests.

I'm convinced that at some point the game purposefully deletes fragment parts at some of the deeper and hard-to-reach wrecks, or at the very least did so at one point during development.

Meanwhile I'm finding beacon and grav sphere fragments seemingly respawning in the Safe Shallows.

This game gets really weird at times.
