No more crash zone lava zone enterance?
How am I supposed to visit the lava zone now? I think it's the one biome (other than lava lakes) that I haven't been to before.

That was removed about 2 or 3 major updates ago.

I haven't played much until now, a lot of it is new to me, I'm kind of discovering the game again. Since I played last it was very different, and the Ghost Leviathan was kind of a rumor.

I didn't know this either

It's disappointing. It was relatively convenient and made sence (big collision, opens crack).

It also made sense cause the sea dragon feeds on reapers

Go to the lost river, at the blood kelp north or the deep grand reef, then look for a giant underwater tree. There is passage throught the moutain too but I'm not sure

Plenty of ways, just none of them remotely good. As much as I'm annoyed at having the Ghost Leviathan act like a wall mid-Lost-River, I like the Lost River and think we should all go through it.

Unfortunately, if you go through the Deep Grand Reef, you get Warper- and Crabsquid-spammed to death, figuratively if not literally. And it's all but impossible to navigate a Cyclops through that, even without being constantly attacked and power-drained.

If you go through the Western Blood Kelp Trench, again you get Crabsquid-ed to death in that "slimy pillars" connecting cavern or whatever they call it. Every time I try, if I ignore the Crabsquid I get wrecked. If I try to avoid them, they end up herding me up into the Grand Reef instead of into the Lost River where I'm trying to go.

If you go through the Northern Blood Kelp, you get Ampeel, Warper, AND Crabsquid-spammed to death. But at least that's an option now. It used to be far too close to the Underwater Islands and you'd attract dozens of Bonesharks even trying to get near. It's probably the one I'll try next, since the entrance is at least kind of in the open so you can try to deal with the critters before trying to get your lumbering Cyclops down there.

It's not so much the critters that bother me (re-reading my post and hearing the feel of it). It's creature spam in enclosed spaces. Deterrents don't work if anything that breaks its leash has nowhere to run to; they just keep attacking you as if you hadn't just poked them. And, of course, kiilling things is difficult by design. But you have no choice in a heavily-populated cavern chokepoint.

What's next they add a way in from the void? (Sarcasm )

Actually the crash zone entrance was still there last update for me. I found it accidentally when running from the sea dragon - found a little passage off of the lava zone to hole up in while I repaired my cyclops. It was just a blank passage with no mobs, no lights and just the black lava texture, and it came out to the front end of the Aurora.

Not been back there since the update to see if I can find it again.

You'll find it removed with the Ghost update. There's a new tunnel now on the North edge of the Bulb(Koosh) zone. I highlight it here.

I'm so sad the new entrance doesn't go straight to the LZ... They really need a shortcut past the lost river. Why do I always have to go through the lost river to get everywhere...

Because people might take that on their first playthrough of the game and bypass the mid part of the story completely, skipping straight to the lava castle and other endgame areas.

That part of lost river(and the newest) in the video is the easiest to navigate and the straitest shot to the LZ as you're going to get. It's actually easier to navigate than the old narrow lava tube if your in a Cyclops.

Because the Lost River is a huge plot point
