So... my starting lifepod apparently drifted away?
I have my base set up at the edge of the safe shallows, bordering the grassy plateau, and a kelp forest. My lifepod was deep in the in the safe shallows at the start, now it's 500+ meters deep in the grassy plateau. It's roughly my 120th day in this particular save file. I've already moved out of that lifepod and don't really need it for anything aside from being a reference point for getting back to my base. Is this a new feature?

Ok... so... it's actively drifting away now... at 1 meter per second. It's floating due east...bye bye lifepod 5... it's been real.

I had this happen once. It was pretty irritating but I had my base built so it wasn't a game breaker.
Lothos 25 AGO 2017 a las 2:12 p. m.
i read ot drifts in a circle until you fix it.
Kris 25 AGO 2017 a las 2:24 p. m.
It will drift anyway if you don't repair it. I'm guessing thats what happened here.
Nyello 25 AGO 2017 a las 3:34 p. m.
Yea you need to use the repair tool on the box next to the fabricator in the lifepod. This reactivates the gravity anchor making your lifepod sit still.

I'm wondering: if you didn't fix your lifepod did you fix your communication relay? If not, you are missing out on a lot....

I already have a seperate base with all of the essentials and more. I have a Scanner room, Alien containment, Moonpool, a bed, a coffee maker and an observatory with lantern fruit and marble melons. I patched up the pod ages ago, but it seems it deteriorated on it's own again?
Soloquendi 25 AGO 2017 a las 4:21 p. m.
Bug. Definitely report it.
Psicraft 25 AGO 2017 a las 5:44 p. m.
Use the randomstart console command to teleport and halt your lifepod back to a starting position.

Did you crash into it at some point?

When I built my Cyclops I underestimated the position of my mobile bay and kinda.. drop it ontop of my lifepod.. which broke it again lol moved it too..
I noticed when I went back inside the pannel was damaged even though everything else was working normally.. I repaired the pannel but got the whole lifepod powering up thing again.

@Cougarific why did you take the time to look that all up and link it? Are you that bored?

@Teratus Now that you mention it, I did accidentally hit my lifepod with my Seamoth before this happened... I guess that solves that.
