How do I get to the Sea Treader's Path, and where should I build my base?
I have two questions in this thread.

1. How do I get to the Sea Treader's Path?
and
2. Where should I build my base?

I have a base right next to my pod in the safe shallows, it's got a comms relay, a few storage lockers, a fabricator, a battery charger and that's it. I have the seamoth and have just fixed the aurora, so I feel it's time to move, I see alot of people talking about this intersection inbetween two biomes, but I wanted to build somewhere unique, but still resource rich. Preferrably no Reapers!

I already did that, and as I said, I haven't found an answer I liked in threads that already exist. Why don't you READ THE POST?!

If you are standing on the lifepod, with the Aurora to your right, turn nearly 180 degrees to your left and head that direction until you get to the Dunes biome. Once there, if you don't see the treader path, turn left and it should eventually come into view. It's on the edge of the map.

Thanks, I'll go try that now. Maybe I should build my base there..

wait wat? No, no, I said I've read almost all of those and none of them have answers I'm satisfied with, and since I've barely played this game, I don't know any good spots.

Speaking of sea treaders, I've been searching for copper subjects and a bunch of threads showed up that advised them as an infinite source...except they don't seem to be giving any limestone deposits these days. Is it just a greatly reduced rate? (which would mean I have to hit up the barnacles or keep hunting for traditional sources...)

They used to unearth different rocks with a different drop table, which at the time included copper. Nowadays they only unearth shale rocks which drop gold, lithium and diamonds.
