Where is the Mushroom Forest?

A guide said you can find the power Cell Recharger by heading approximately North West to the Mushroom Forest Zone and "eventually" you'll run into contact with it. I can apparently find the fragments by going to the main tree which holds a wreck. I got everything I need for the expedition but just didn't find it. I barely survived my first encounter with some sort of giant fish and rushed back home.
If I want to make a Seamoth and effectively use it and save resources, I need this. Can anyone give me better directions to the Mushroom Forest and how deep it is? Thank you!

it's just south west of the mountain island, and a couple hundred meters down.

Thank you. Just a couple hundred meters down, haha. It's fine, ha ha. I have a phobia of the deep sea

Are you talking about the Floater Islands? I ran into those

If you're at the Floating Islands with your back to the Aurora you want to turn left and head south to find the Mushroom Forest.

Yeah, i found it. I got a Propulsion Cannon, found all the parts to the Cyclops, and found a power transmitter, BUT NO POWER CELL RECHARGER! I found the wreck and everything and I've been searching for a good half hour now.
