Although building is still in progress, here's an exterior shot of my current Koosh base.

It's kind of like Christmas all the time there., lol I love it. ^_^
I've got other screenshots of the base via my profile if you're ever interested.
very cool base you got there :)
how about power are solarpanels viable at that depth
Only problem I can see with a base in the Koosh Zone is lack of resources. There's not much of anything there that you can use for crafting.
Thank you kindly. =)
And Cougarific is spot on about solar panels not being very effective within this zone and its restricted selection of resources. So it can be a decent challenge.
I tossed a few Panels onto my base in the early stages of building so that I'd have just enough power if I ever needed food and/or water. I eventually added both a Nuclear and Bio Reactor. I came across some black smokers not too far from the base and was able to set up some Thermals with 3 Power Transmitters.
As far as resources go, there's a healthy amount of Lithium, Basalt Outcrops, Uraninite Crystals, and Magnetite within the area. With a Kelp Forest a short range from there, I was able to locate a decent supply of Scrap Metal. And... yeah, that's about it for resources, lol. I made sure to stock up on tons of multiple types of materials in my Cyclops before I set out to start building. Even then, I still occasionally have to zip back home in the Seamoth to restock a few things, but I don't find it too bothersome; to me, it's totally worth it for a nifty Koosh Zone base. =D
I see thank you for the information
