Aurora. It's there before the Sunbeam gets shot down. It's a good wreck, too. It has moonpool fragments if you haven't found them, yet.

Hmmm.... You sure? I'm about to go down there right now the next time I load the game. Are you sure you checked everywhere? It's the wreck a little more than 300m deep right by the precursor gun, with a reaper swimming close by?

I'm pretty sure Sunbeam was anihilated to the point when there's nothing left of it. Aurora was big enough to withstand the strike and not explode right away, but the sunbeam was but a shutlle and was destroyed 99%

i saw first hand what happened to the sunbeam about a week ago, based on the destruction, the size of the ship and radius, the chances of finding anything large enough that can fit into a thimble at the very least is remote.

That wreck, which has been in the game for many months now, is part of a ship that was previously destroyed by the cannon. It isn't something that fell off the Aurora during its crash decent. Same situation for all the other wrecks that litter the ocean. They are remnants of old ships destroyed either while in orbit or as they were trying to land/examine the planet. As for the Sunbeam, it was obliterated and any pieces that could have sank to the ocean floor won't be found since the ship was over the oceanic void. And no, it's not part of the Degasi wreck. It's already established in the PDA logs that they fully dismantled their craft for parts to make the various abandoned habitats.

That makes absolutely no sense. So like, eight different ships have been shot down over this planet and they decide to send yet another one with no defensive capabilities and no warnings about the other ships that have been shot down? And all the other ships just happen to have the same tech as the Aurora did?

I'm baffled that they would make this part of the story - it's totally illogical.

"Noone will know if noone can tell the story."
Or something like that.
