Hey I couldn't see on the development map or faq but is there any word on motion controls for vive?

We dont know yet, we're working hard however on improving the VR experience over the next few weeks.

if full motion controls got added i'd probably never play anything else.. well atl east not till Fallout 4 VR:P would love a locomotion based on maybe holding trigger and pointing direction to swim or just standard trackpad but follow controller direction.. being able to reach out and grab stuff would be incredible though but I don't really expect it.

Thanks dev! if any beta branches incorporate vive controlers I'll happily test them out. This game has been high on my list for a while!

Have you fixed the Hud for Vive VR? I bought this before but could not see the hud, it was always out of my line of vision, so I refunded.

Its not yet fixed. But with a simple console command you can reduce the Field of view and the HUD is okay then. You definitly missed a awesome VR experience doing a refund ;)

Another idea for motion controls is something like the Solus project..Not full interaction just simple implementation..So you can point and click trigger instead of physical interaction

Cool thanks, I didn't know I could do this. I just been waiting for it to get fixed but now I can enjoy it!

We "NEED" motion controls for VR. if one determined direction of swimming and the other controlled your weapon that would be perfect! Obviously vehicles are a bit more difficult to implement, but a similar mechanic would be reasonable. Even though actual actionable controls in game would be better. (The control for when in the water is the most important implementation to have really good!)

You could just turn the controller skin into a joystick for one, and a throttle for the other, only activating their changes with a button push. this, with a hud display for speed and such would be perfect!.

(Oh, and don't for get the left handed crowd, and option to switch, or ambidexterity of the controllers would be amazing!)
