How to go to jelly shroom cave base?

Hello.
Just as the title says^.
From the aurora or the start point (which is random but still happens in the safe shallows).
And please the quickest way, I get scared enough as it is and don't want to overdo it.

There's an entrance just south of most lifepod spawn locations (if you're standing on your lifepod facing the Aurora, south is to your right). It's right on the border between the Safe Shallows and a Red Grass biome.

If you want to watch a bit of this, I go from my base (which is just a few meters from my lifepod), directly to the entrance - skip ahead to the 6:25 mark:

Dude, you really shouldn't go down there without a seamoth. Preferrably with sonar so you can see all walls and exits, I mean, I went down there but I had several air tanks and I still had a seamoth, but It could only go down to standard depth. So, you think navigating the caves themselves is a labyrinth? try navigating the stalagite patterns while trying not to go below crush depth. Also I din't find the base until I could actually drive my seamoth, like, theres nothing really worthwhile for you at the beginning of your game. All the stuff you can get base building I guess, but going to the floating island is better for base schematics.

Also beware crabsnakes, they aren't that bad, but a stasis rifle would help. PS swimming to island is safe, just be carefull you're not to close to the aurora, theres 1 reaper about 200-400 meters back from it. I ran into it while looking for grand reef. I only had my seamoth with me as well so it was extra scary, but I still had perimeter defence.

Whenever I try to enter the base im killed within like 10-20 seconds by some green mist stuff. I know it's not radiation because it still kills me with a radiation suit. also, i'm not touching the hanging stingers so I have no clue what's doing it? can anyone tell me what it is and how to survive it?

If you dont repulse the jellyfish away, they will get you. make sure you move them. as for green mist.. not sure what that would be, sorry.

Easiest way is following the story of the people who came before the Aurora and tried making a life here. At the island where you find their first base, one PDA gives you a new beacon that takes you right to the jelly shroom cave base.
